In ‘Om Shanti Om’ one would have amusingly enjoyed the superhero scenes of Shah Rukh Khan – watching his character Om, trying out the superhero costume and complaining to his designer as to what kind of costume she has made… And a similar situation is what our star is facing now in reality…

Shooting for ‘Ra.One’ is one Hercules task for Shah Rukh, especially when it comes for him to get into the ‘skin’ on the film’s character. The body suit, as we had earlier mentioned, is made up of thick rubber and is quite tight fitting.

Birdies revealed that getting into the costume is such a tedious job that it takes nearly 40 mins. Because of this, the Badshah of Bollywood restricts his trip to the restroom very minimal – that is only once during the shooting shift. As a matter of fact, the shift usually extends to 10-12 hours everyday! Besides, the summer of Mumbai adds to his woes. The rubber suit sticks to his body and that makes the heat even more unbearable.

Phew! As they say, superhero yun hi nahi banta…
